ABOUT US
The mandate for the mission was given in 2008, since then it has gone through different stages, as we sought clarity and direction on ways that God will have us do the work he has committed to our hands. Towards the end of 2012, by divine providence, the founders ‘met’ and God used their interaction to start what was known as Distinct Generation Ministry.

Our Story
2014
November 2014, Threshing House was birthed to properly put the mandate given us into perspective and fashion out practical ways that God will have us do his work.
Threshing House became the umbrella body of the organization while the team running the affairs of the organization is called Distinct Generation Team. We are a fully fledged non denominational ministry commissioned by God. While we can do things that relates to humanitarian services, our end is that Christ may be formed in the heart of everyone that he has sent us to. Take Christ away from it, there is no Threshing House or Distinct Generation Team.
THE KEY ELEMENTS IN THE VISION THAT DETERMINES OUR PROGRAMMING:
Salvation is the first focus. If you are not saved, you cannot experience the relationship with Christ. You are best like that Ethiopian eunuch that was reading the scriptures but devoid of understanding.
This is the focus in all our outreach efforts. We create programmes and events to the end that people will have opportunity to come to the saving knowledge of Christ especially people groups that the traditional church may not be able to reach or reach effectively.
Sanctification for us is separation. God set us aside for himself alone. This is critical to our walk with and work for Christ. This is what matures your spiritual life. This is made effective in discipleship.
This is the focus in all our maturity efforts. We create programmes and events to the end that people mature in their walk with and work for God. We also have various discipleship and mentorship platforms to achieve this objective.
We are careful to note that we are not saved and sanctified for the fun of it, it is to fulfil God’s purpose for our lives and not only us, we will also raise others to fulfil God’s purpose for their lives. 2 Timothy 2:2
While Christ calls us to discipleship by separating us, he also called us to raise others in discipleship relationship to ensure they in turn are separated to fulfil God’s purpose for their lives.
